Daphne, Alabama

Dall David Thomas, born November 5, 1954, passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, October 17, 2012. Dall was predeceased by his loving wife, Jacqueline Hinebrook and his father, Dall J. Thomas, III.

Survivors include his mother, Grace Voorhies Thomas, and siblings, Constance Henry, Grace Cousans, Donald Thomas, Steven Thomas, Gary Thomas, Allison Thomas, a beloved niece, Constance Murphy of Indianapolis, IN and greatly loved by his many nieces and nephews.

Dall was a native of New Orleans and a resident of Daphne for the past 25 years where he and his wife owned The Enchanted Cottage, children’s boutique. He graduated from Warren Easton high school in New Orleans and the National River Academy of the U.S.A.

As an active member of the Daphne community, Dall was a past Grand Knight and rose to 4th degree in the Knights of Columbus and was well known for his charitable contributions to those in need.

Dall found great happiness and companionship through his love of sailing, cars and motorcycles. Dall was known for his jovial personality, ready wit and kind and gentle nature. He will be missed by all who knew him.
