Clarence Wilson Dub Rutherford, 77, of Collins, MS, passed away, Sunday, September 1, 2013 in Theodore, AL. He was born in Canoe, AL and worked as an electronic tech on amusement machines in the Mobile area. Dub loved fishing on Fowl River at Memories Fish Camp. He is predeceased by his parents, Currie and Mattie Rutherford and a son, Brian Keith Rutherford.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret A. Rutherford of Collins, MS; three sons, Clarence Randall O’Randy’s (Sandy) Rutherford of Milton, FL, Chester Wayne (Robin) Rutherford, Molino, FL and David Wayne(Brandy)Rutherford of Collins, MS; one daughter, Debra Lynn ‘Debbie’ (Mike) Enfinger, Milton, FL; two brothers, Charles Rutherford and Dale Rutherford, both of Atmore, AL and one sister, Glenda Zeigler, Canoe, AL; four stepchildren, Charlotte Aultman, Lisa Hebert, Rebecca Scott and Angie Methany; several grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Dub’s life will be held at 12:00 noon, Saturday, September 14, 2013, at Memories Fish Camp on Fowl River. There will be a luncheon and his family requests that in lieu of flowers, please bring your favorite dish to share with everyone. Notes of condolence for the family may be made at hughesfh.com.
