Charles Leo Rooney,a native of Mobile and resident of Grand bay, died Thursday, May 15, 2008 at the age of 61.

Survivors include his daughter, Melanie Rooney of Troy, AL; his mother, Alice Bardie Rooney of Mobile; 3 brothers, Waynick eugene rooney, David vann rooney and Raymond Joseph Rooney all of Mobile; 4 sisters, Augustine Byrd of Mobile; Sandra Horn of DeRidder, LA; Marion george of Castleberry, La and Joanne Wilson of Deer Park, MI and a granddaughter.

Visitation is Tuesday, May 20, 2008 from 1:00 PM until the 2:00 PM memorial service at Serenity Funeral Home in Theodore. Cremation arrangements were by Hughes Cremation 7 funeral Service.
