August 27, 1942 – April 13, 2010 In Loving Memory.
Mrs. Caroline Emmons Blackman, 67, a native of Eagle, Michigan and a resident of Daphne for 21 years, passed away on Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at a local hospital, after a 25 year battle with leukemia.

Caroline was a dedicated wife, homemaker, mother and grandmother. She was an avid bird watcher who also loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and travelling. She also enjoyed her needlework such as cross-stitch and knitting and was a member of Daphne United Methodist Church.

Caroline is preceded in death by her parents, Harvard and Donna Emmons and a brother, Mark Emmons. She is survived by her loving husband, of nearly 49 years, Robbin Blackman of Daphne; her daughters, Lynette Marie(AL) Holk , Ponsford, MN and Deborah Lynn Blackman of Vadnis Heights, MN; her grandson, Shaun Offerosky, Detroit Lakes, MN and her sister, Jacqueline (Tim)Roberts Burnet, Tx

A Celebration of her life will be held at 11:00am on Friday, April 16, 2010 at Daphne United Methodist Church with Pastor Steve Rascoe officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alabama Gulf Coast Satellite Office of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 2854 Old Shell Road, Mobile, AL 36607.
