January 11, 1967 – January 27, 2008 In Loving Memory.
Marion A. “Bud” Gartman, II, age 41, a resident of Spanish Fort for the past 20 years, died Sunday, January 27, 2008 at home surrounded by his loving family.

Bud was born in Munich, Germany and graduated from Fairhope High School, he was employed as a machinist at Everwood Treatment Plant.

Survivors include his wife Angela Gartman; mother, Betty Gartman of Van Cleave, MS; a daughter, Danielle Lynne McCarn and 2 sons, Clinton LeVelle Gartman and Stephen Thomas Gartman all of Spanish Fort; 2 sisters, Rene G. Hawkins and Amanda Rae Thrower both of Van Cleave; 2 brothers, Raymond E. “Butch” Gartman of Mobile and Barry Allan Gartman of Theodore; 1 grandson, David Andrew McCarn and many other relatives and friends.

A memorial service for Bud will be held at 2:30 PM Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008 at the Fitzpen Place, Hwy. 31 N. in Spanish Fort. The family will receive friends beginning at 2:00 PM.
