In his younger years, his family moved around the southeast where he and his brother fished and hunted many a summer day. His father moved the family engineering business to Fairhope in 1957.  He was a civil engineer during Baldwin County’s rapid growth and was responsible for the design of many engineering projects such as, water and sewer systems,  the W. C. Majors Football Stadium and the Fairhope Municipal Pier.

Beyond his engineering accomplishments he shared his love with all.  He excelled as an artist and gave away many of his paintings for all to enjoy. I was googling Seth this morning (I worked at Moore Surveying 1993-1994) and came across the news of his father’s passing. I believe I did some field work on several of Ack’s projects and he was a pleasure to work with. We will grieve as those do that have a hope and know that this is not the end! I pray peace to friends and family during this trying time.
