Connie Maxine Hardwick, age 63, passed away at home in Spanish Fort, AL surrounded by family on March 24, 2015. On April 4th 1969, Connie was united in marriage to Ed Hardwick in Whitehall, IL. Connie enjoyed being a grandma, taking walks, gardening, crafting and golfing. Purple was her favorite color and the Green Bay Packers her favorite team. Connie lived in Green Bay from 1985 – 1995 and always considered Green Bay a special place.

The family includes her husband Ed, her son Brad Hardwick and his wife Missy of Green Bay WI, and her daughter Keri Henning and her husband Hunt of Malvern, AR. She loved her grandchildren, Haley, Hannah and Hope Hardwick and Greta and Maggie Henning. Connie’s parents were Ed and Mary Osborne of Roodhouse, IL and she had eight sisters and brothers: Pat, Linda, Winnie, Carla, Sherry, Gale, Don and Terry.

Special gratitude goes out from the family to Bunny and Candie for helping the family in a time of need and for Community Hospice for helping the family with the last days.  Connie was loved and will be missed.

The family will celebrate Connie’s life with a visitation on Friday evening, at  March 27, 2015 at Hughes Funeral Home, beginning at 6:00 until 8:00pm.  A time of prayer will be held at 7:00pm, officiated by Pastor Chad Janey.  Expressions of condolence may be offered at hughesfh.com.  Arrangements are by Hughes Funeral Home & Crematory, 7951 American Way, Daphne, AL.

    So sorry for your loss. I remember Connie being such a nice and friendly person. She worked for my husband, Rick Weatherby and myself. He recently passed away October 13, 2014. I am so thankful for all the years we had together and that is what gets me by. Plus, knowing that I will see him again one day as you will see Connie again.
