Coronavirus Update

We appreciate the families Hughes Funeral Home are honored to serve. You are important to us, so we wanted to reach out personally regarding current Coronavirus (SARS-COV-2) situation.

This is an update on what we are doing right now at Hughes to protect you and your family. First we want to assure you that your safety and the safety of all our families and staff remain our top priority. We’ve gone back and reinforced our practices and policies regarding how we clean our facility.

Our goal – in this time and always – is to ensure a clean, safe, and sanitary environment, and our associates are exceeding the guidelines for cleanliness set in place by the CDC.

We’ve increased the frequency of our cleaning assignments, particularly in the restrooms and coffee lounge. We have placed hand sanitizer at every entrance and in all areas where the public or our associates will be.

Our staff has taken and will take every precaution to keep everyone safe, especially on funerals and visitations. For the safety of all, we are asking those who aren’t feeling well to write notes of condolence (by mail or website) instead of coming in person.

We would also gladly welcome a phone call so we may sign the guest register book for you. Thank you for your patience and trust in us.
